What Data We Collect
PomodoLock collects and stores locally on your device:
- Timer status (running/stopped) and time remaining
- End time for active focus sessions
- List of blocked websites that you’ve configured
- No usage statistics, browsing history, or personal information is collected
How We Use Data
All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s storage API and is used solely to:
- Maintain the state of your focus timer
- Block specified websites during active focus sessions
- Preserve your list of blocked websites between browser sessions
Data Storage and Sharing
- All data is stored locally on your device
- No data is transmitted to external servers
- No data is shared with third parties
- No analytics or tracking mechanisms are implemented
User Rights
You may reset all stored data by:
- Using the reset button in the extension popup
- Uninstalling the extension
Permissions
PomodoLock requires the following permissions:
- storage: To save your timer settings and blocked website list locally
- webNavigation: To detect when you navigate to blocked sites
- tabs: To redirect you from blocked sites during active focus sessions
- alarms: To manage the timer functionality
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of this document.
